CHALLENGE 

Capture the spirit of the most popular UCSD events, The UnOlympics: a competition between the different UCSD colleges. 

           SOLUTION

Wrote an article that displayed the spirit, as well as, showcased the long rich history, of the 60 year old event; that appeared in the UCSD Alumni magazine, TRITON.

How I helped

  • Extensively researched and browsed through the UCSD historical archives. 

  • Interviewed alumni and the organizers involved.

  • Ensured that the written piece was faithful to the event and the account of those involved in organizing it. 

OUTCOME

The feedback received after the issue was published was highly positive; with many alumni thanking the magazine for reminding them of a cherished  memory of their youth.
