A QUICK SUMMARY OF MY EXPERIENCE


NORDSTROM
UX CONTENT DESIGNER 1
Here, I was the sole content designer on the following spaces:
-
post-purchase communications: I wrote all the emails, notifications and designed the content for features related to the customer’s digital experience after they placed an order on Norstrom and Nordstrom Rack; for different formats such as mobile, web, and app.

accounts: I designed the digital account experience for both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack customers. This involved interactions like general account settings, profile preferences, and account creation flows. I also co-designed the first American one-time password (OTP) experience sign-in experience.

point of sales (POS) software: I created the content for the new feature interfaces (such as those consent requests and device pairing). I also created the content branding guidelines and error resolution process.
MICROSOFT
UX WRITER (CONTRACT)
I created content for Microsoft's privacy resources and focused on increasing accessibility across all its products and services for over 1.4 billion users. I supported the content design team by improving taxonomies and optimizing content organization for its cloud-based content management tool, C3. I wrote support articles that empowered users to navigate complex data usage and storage regulations across global borders.

DESIGN & RESEARCH INTERN
In 2021, I was a Design & Research Intern on Twitter's Content Design Team. While I got the opportunity to be involved in multiple avenues of content design, my main project focused on building the content strategy for the revamp of Twitter's social media dashboard known as TweetDeck.
QUALCOMM INSTITUTE & THE DESIGN LAB
Communications Copywriter Editor
I copywrote under Don Norman (former VP of Apple's Advanced Technology Group, author of Design of Everyday Things, and co-founder of Nielsen Norman Group) to increase accessibility and comprehensibility of complex projects; such as autonomous vehicle design for Ford, user experience improvement for Adobe Research, for other investors and their stakeholders. I interviewed high-achieving individuals like Albert Lin (award-winning National Geographical Explorer) to condense their rich experiences into engaging articles. I authored articles in formats such as emails, for YouTube, newsletters, and social media platforms to showcase the design community that's transforming San Diego into a hotbed of innovation.
